Facebook reportedly crashed in large parts of Australia, US and Asia. The social media giant was reported as going down just after 11am . Millions of social media users took to Twitter to complain about the crash. ‘Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it,’ was message that flashed up! While the reason for the crash is unknown, DownDetector said that of the 254 issues reported, 59 per cent said they experienced a total blackout while 36 per cent said they were having issues logging into the site. And the remaining four per cent said the problems were related to pictures. When users tried to log in to the site, they were met with an error message, that read: ‘Sorry, something went wrong.
‘We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.’ The issues have now been resolved and the site is working again, although Facebook has not commented on what the problem was. Social media was quickly lit up with humorous messages from users unable to cope with the crash.

That’s all I got,’ joked another. ‘We don’t mean to alarm you but FACEBOOK IS DOWN!!! How will we know what you ate for lunch?,’ tweeted NSW Police.
